Keen on yoking theory and practice, Geetha has done pioneering work in the media, academia and film activism. Her move to filmmaking heralded an era of digital expressions by women in Kerala. Her experience as an independent producer includes six docs in UK as well as six shorts in India, apart from many years in the television industry. Attentive to the creative sweep as well as the nitty-gritty details, Geetha has been a hands-on producer, nurturing a nascent idea into Algorithms.

She has directed three films – a creative documentary, a docu-fiction and a cine-poem.
